Even if you're not a fan of either "Star Wars" or "Star Trek," you're probably somewhat familiar with the ongoing feud between the two as to which was better. What you may not know is that fans of the two may be uniting in mutual hatred of the "Twilight" series. George Takei, who calls himself the Broker of Star Peace, is proposing that they do just that. The story starts on YouTube, where William Shatner uploaded a video to his personal page attacking "Star Wars" for being derivative of the TV series that made him a household name. Carrie Fisher, who's best known for her role as Princess Leia in "Star Wars," had her own response to Shatner, saying that "Star Trek" "isn't even in the same league." Then Takei, who is the only actor to have had a role in both "Star Trek" and "Star Wars," suggests that fans of both franchises settle their feud by uniting against a common enemy: "Twilight." Takei, pleading with his fellow "starfolk," calls the "Twilight" franchise an "ominous, mutual threat." In the video, Takei explains that "Twilight" does not compare to either sci-fi drama, exclaiming that there are no heroes. Takei goes on to say that what's needed today, more than ever, is star peace. On social media, people are loving George Takei more than hating on "Twilight." People are calling him awesome and saying they now have even more reason to admire him. Which side are you on?

Yo-Yo Ma is a Grammy-winning cellist known around the world for his virtuoso ability. What he's not known for is hanging out with wombats. Twitter is afire with a picture of Ma doing something uncharacteristic. He's lying on a restroom floor, smiling, next to a wombat. Peter Sagal, host of the popular National Public Radio show "Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!" posted the image and tweeted, "Yo yo Ma on the floor of a bathroom, with a wombat." The picture of the uber-famous cellist has been retweeted thousands of times and has people theorizing about what is going on. Some people are saying that it looks like a possible scene from "The Hangover 3," but others speculate that it could be a weird new edition of the game Clue. No matter the explanation, Sagal attests that with one image he has now "justified the existence of Twitter."
