GM Unveils 2014 Buick LaCrosse

General Motors Company (GM) showcased the redesigned 2014 Buick LaCrosse at the New York International Auto show. The mid-sized luxury sedan will be manufactured in the Fairfax plant in Kansas City, KS.

In order to attract young buyers, the vehicle is equipped with LED daytime running lamps and LED tail lamps. The sculpted body shape including new grill will help in reducing aerodynamic drag and improve fuel efficiency of the vehicle.

The vehicle is equipped with advanced safety features including radar- and camera-based Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Change Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Automatic Collision Preparation. All the systems work together with the Safety Alert Seat, which provides vibration pulses along with other visual or audio warnings.

The interior is also remodeled with new seats, redesigned instrument panel with intuitive controls and voice recognition. The car comes with two powertrain options: the 2.4L engine with eAssist light electrification and 3.6L direct-injected V-6.
