HICKORY, NC--(Marketwire - Mar 5, 2013) - Corning MobileAccess, part of Corning Incorporated's (NYSE: GLW) Telecommunications segment, is showcasing its distributed antenna systems (DAS) solutions for the healthcare industry at HIMSS 2013, March 3-7, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

Corning MobileAccess also announced that Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore is the latest healthcare facility to utilize Corning's wireless technology, which is used by dozens of major healthcare facilities in the United States. The MobileAccess2000 DAS was deployed in the hospital's newest clinical building, a dual-tower adult and pediatric care facility.

Installed by Gulf Coast Real Estate Consultants (GCREC), the Corning solution supports wireless coverage across 1.6 million square feet of space and 560 patient rooms.
