Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber Reunite – Just Like These Celebrity Couples Who Kissed and Made Up

Oh, young love — one minute you're tweeting the anagram for the word "single" to your 30 million followers and the next you're back together with your "ex" at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. Wait — that's not how it played out for you when you were growing up? Well, that's how it did for the apparently on-again Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.

Just days after it was widely reported that the Hollywood couple had split, they were photographed at the swanky hotel on Thursday morning. Although Bieber, 18, and Gomez, 20, arrived together, they entered the building separately — just moments apart — to throw off any waiting paparazzi. They reportedly spent the night before together as well, crashing at the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star's home after she flew in to Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

The lovebirds have had their share of problems in the past, breaking up more than once, and it seems like this is a pattern that will continue because, well, despite how much money they earn and people they employ, they're still practically kids. "They are [young]," a source told Us Weekly over the weekend. "It changes from day to day. It's hard to say how they will end up. ... We'll see."

Bieber and Gomez aren't the only celebrity couple to play the breakup-makeup game. In fact, many famous twosomes have split only to get back together for good.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel

Justin Timberlake, 31, and Jessica Biel, 30, looked pretty ecstatic in their wedding photo on the cover of People; the "SexyBack" singer was literally jumping for joy. And while things seem to be picture perfect for them now following their lavish nuptials in southern Italy and $5,715-a-night African honeymoon, "I do" was almost out of the question for them at one point. Back in 2011, over three years after they started dating, they called it quits for four months. When they reconciled, a source told Us Weekly that Timberlake "realized single life is not what it's cracked up to be." By the end of the year he had popped the question and the rest, as they say, is history.

Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox

Brian Austin Green, 39 and Megan Fox, 26, are the proud new parents of a son, Noah, but they also went through a rocky period in their relationship during which they parted ways. Initially engaged in 2006, they called things off in 2009 — soon after Fox's career soared and the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star reportedly was struggling to adjust to her megafame. But parting was sweet sorrow for them, and within a few months he proposed again. In 2010, they sealed the deal during a small ceremony in Hawaii.

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler

Three months after Kristin Cavallari, 25, and Jay Cutler, 29, became engaged in 2011, the reality TV star was reportedly blindsided by the pro football player's decision to end their relationship. Making things worse? Their breakup took place just days after their engagement party, so they had to return all the gifts! (Awkward!) But just a few months later, Cutler was seen cheering on Cavallari when she competed in "Dancing With the Stars" and a month later their engagement was back on. While they've put off walking down the aisle for now, they did become first-time parents to a son named Camden in August.

Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb

After a series of arguments last May, Sofia Vergara called it quits with Nick Loeb, a businessman whom she had been dating for two years. But the "Modern Family" star just couldn't stay away! In July, Loeb was on hand for the Colombian beauty's 40th birthday bash, for which she flew 90 of her closest friends and family members to Mexico. It was there that Loeb popped the question and Vergara accepted. While she told omg! she hasn't started planning her wedding yet, she hinted to Allure that more children could be in her future. "I would think about it," said Vergara, who has a grown son, Manolo, from a previous marriage. "But I wouldn't have four. Maybe one is fine."

Prince William and Kate Middleton

Prince William and Kate Middleton's fairytale wedding in 2011 almost wasn't. The college sweethearts — who are both 30 — separated in 2007 amid the public pressure they faced to tie the knot. The duchess later admitted she had been angry about the separation, but looked back on it as a positive experience because she had been "consumed" with the relationship. William felt the same way, saying, "We were both very young … and we were both defining ourselves as such and being different characters, it was very much trying to find our way and we were growing up, it was just a bit of space. And things worked out for the better!"

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth

And let's not forget about Miley Cyrus, 19, and Liam Hemsworth, 22! After falling in love on the set of 2009's "The Last Song," they split several times — the longest was from November 2010 to April 2011. At the time of their breakup, E! reported: "Liam wanted more, but she's 17 and has other priorities right now... She is not ready to settle down." But they eventually reunited and then this past May she was ready for the next step. The Australian actor popped the question to his lady love, complete with a 3.5-carat diamond ring. Cyrus recently talked about wedding planning during an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," saying that despite reports, she's only having one wedding — not three. And the big day will be down the road a bit because she's "like, so focused on my record."

So there is hope for Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez — but with probably many ups and downs along the way. Do you think they can make their relationship work?
