Rumer Willis spends her 24th birthday with new boyfriend Jayson Blair

Rumer Willis didn’t have to wish for a cute new boyfriend when she blew out her birthday candles last night – she already has one.

The eldest daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis turned 24 on Thursday and celebrated with friends, family, and her new beau Jayson Blair, the 28-year-old actor she was seen locking lips with earlier this week. According to reports, Rumer and Jayson have quietly been seeing each other since June, but now that things are out in the open, so are they. In fact, there’s also been some TDA – that’s a Twitter display of affection, folks. When Rumer, who is trying to grow her acting resume, announced to her Twitter followers that her birthday had arrived and she’d be spending it with her main squeeze, he replied, “Happy Birthday beautiful woman!”

Earlier in the week, Blair, who will be seen next in NBC's new sitcom "The New Normal" in September, posted a photo of himself feeding Rumer’s many dogs. “Sneaking my Baby's babies some chicken. Don't tell momma,” he wrote.

Though Rumer’s pooches weren’t able to attend her birthday bash, her two sisters, Scout and Tallulah, came out for the special dinner, where the guest of honor was dressed to thrill in a revealing black cutout dress. The trio posed together for a group photo. And, for the record, Scout was not drinking Pakistani beer out of a paper bag in any of the pics that were posted online.

Also on hand for the festivities was Rumer’s pal Annie Starke, who happens to be the 24-year-old daughter of Glenn Close. After becoming close while co-starring in the Off-Broadway hit, “Love, Loss, and What I Wore,” in New York City last year, Rumer and aspiring actress Starke became roommates in Los Angeles. Starke, who is also friendly with Blair, tweeted good wishes to Rumer on her big day as well, “Happy birthday to my lovely, amazin, hot as s--t roommate.”

It’s nice that Rumer appeared to be surrounded by so much love on her birthday because she’s definitely had a drama-filled year. Last fall, her mother’s marriage to Ashton Kutcher – with whom Rumer has had a close relationship – ended amid allegations he had cheated. When Moore slipped into a downward spiral after the split, Rumer was forced to step up and take care of her mom. After Moore “smoked something” and slipped into a semi-conscious, convulsive state, Rumer and her friends scrambled to call 911 and get Moore to the hospital. While Moore later sought treatment in rehab, her relationship with her three girls has definitely suffered as a result. Numerous reports state that Moore’s daughters won’t speak to her and when Tallulah graduated from high school in June, Moore sat alone at the commencement ceremony and left early.

Here’s hoping 24 is much better for Rumer than 23 was! Things appear to be looking up already.
