Robert Pattinson: Love scene in ‘Breaking Dawn 2′ is ‘pretty ridiculous’

If you thought their bed-breaking, honeymoon love scenes were extreme, just wait for the vampire-on-vampire love scene between Bella and Edward in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2."

"The sex scene in this one is pretty ridiculous," Robert Pattinson said in a recent interview on an Australian talk show. The new and final "Twilight" film, coming out November 16, marks the first time Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will both be in a love scene as vampires. (The cliffhanger of "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" showed Bella coming back to life after a gnarly birth scene with a vampire's red-colored eyes.)

"It's just because you're kind of shooting stuff to be PG-13... It's just trying to think of inventive ways to make something sexy," Pattinson further explained, adding, "It can't just be a normal sex scene. It's supposed to be about, like, the greatest vampire sex you've ever had."

Pattinson went on to say that much of the scene was shot with super-tight close ups on him and Stewart and that they were prompted to give faces "of ecstasy." He indicated everyone found it quite funny: "We're just sitting there by ourselves. There wasn't even anyone else in the scene. We're doing it just to the camera, and the camera man is laughing as well." Pattinson said there were about 40 people in the room as they shot the scene. "Guys faces aren't really designed to do [that]," he added with a laugh.

The interview covered a range of Pattinson-related topics, including his favorite "Twilight" scenes of all time, as well as his admittedly embarrassing, typical Starbucks order. (Ladies, RPatz orders low-cal, half-coffee/half-milk Mistos!)

Anticipation for the final "Twilight" installment continues to build as cast members are in the midst of their global press tour.

Yahoo! Movies is live-streaming the star-studded world premiere of "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" in Los Angeles on Monday, November 12. The online event will incorporate fan participation through Yahoo! Movies' various social media sites, including Facebook and Twitter.
