Rihanna Sorry For Not Spending Time With Journalists On 777 Tour

Rihanna made a last ditch effort of damage control for her 777 Tour Tuesday as the chartered twinjet prepared to descend in New Jersey.

Rihanna received a number of bad reviews from press aboard the plane that tracked her dates in Mexico City, Toronto, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin and London, and will wrap in New York Tuesday.

Rihanna has not been accessible to press since Thursday morning when she joined the passengers at the baggage claim area in Canada.

Not only did Rihanna's critics complain about her being inaccessible and stage a peaceful demonstration Monday that included a journalist streaking, they addressed the excessive, long wait time for boarding, flight take off and customs checks; the choices of food and lack of sleep given the grueling touring schedule that traveled to a new country each day.

One journalist, MTV Latin VJ Diego Alfaro, created and posted throughout the plane a missing person's flier with Rihanna's image.

When Rihanna joined the journalists Tuesday, she addressed the frustrations. "I know you guys barely got any dirt," she said. "But I had to be good. It's impossible to spend time with everybody, and I'm sorry I didn't. But this was excellent, and I would definitely do it again."

Rihanna added that she mainly rested while she was on the plane. "I barely slept," she said. "My sleeping was all done on this plane."

The "Diamonds" singer thinks the tour went well, and said she would do it again. "I would do this next time with more people, more cities and sit back with the fans more," she said. "I had to preserve my health. Normally, I'd be back here popping bottles with y'all. … I had to preserve my voice. I was worried about my body more than partying on the plane, so I had to just sleep whenever I could. Hope you guys had as much fun as I did."

Rihanna said she anticipated her Tuesday night show at New York's Webster Hall.
