Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli make nice for their kids – and they aren’t the only exes doing so!

While some famous exes just can't stop publicly attacking one another (we're looking at you Brandi Glanville, Eddie Cibrian, and LeAnn Rimes!), others have pleasantly surprised us by making peace pacts and coming together to support their children.

Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli's split is still pretty recent — they announced their divorce in March after 11 years of marriage — but they were both on the sidelines at their 6-year-old daughter Fiona's soccer game over the weekend in Los Angeles. The "90210" star — dressed way down in a hoodie and ripped jeans — was largely busy with her coaching duties, but she did make time to go over and talk to the "Twilight" actor. Their daughters seemed especially excited to have their dad there, even climbing onto his lap. When the game was over, Facinelli, 38, left with the couple's eldest daughter, Luca Bella. The 15-year-old will be her dad's date at the premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2" on Monday night.

"Co-parenting takes two great parents to put their differences aside and focus on the children and that's what I've been doing," Facinelli told People last month. Meanwhile 40-year-old Garth, who has lost 30 pounds since their split and started dating again last spring, said that even though they are no longer together, "Peter and I are great parents together."

Surprisingly, they weren't the only celeb exes spotted hanging on the sidelines of a soccer field! Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, whose divorce was finalized in 2008, watched their 9-year-old son Deacon dribble his heart out at his game in Brentwood over the weekend. While Witherspoon, 36, once called her divorce "very traumatic," there's obviously been a lot of water under the bridge since then. Perhaps helping bring the exes together is Witherspoon's new husband, talent agent Jim Toth, who appeared to get along well with Phillippe, 38, greeting him right away with a handshake. Phillippe stood next to Toth throughout the game with the whole group smiling, laughing, and clearly able to put the past behind them.

Also playing nice over the weekend? Dennis Quaid and Kimberly Buffington. Their eight-year marriage has had many ups and downs — she filed for divorce in March, had a change of heart, then filed for separation in October — but they put on a united front to help their 5-year-old twins, Thomas and Zoe, celebrate their birthday at Disneyland. Although reports have stated that a divorce filing is imminent, and Quaid and Buffington were both without their wedding rings, they seemed to be in pretty good spirits as they walked around the park with their little ones. The "Vegas" star even donned a silly Mickey Mouse birthday hat for the special event! How can anyone stay angry while visiting "The Happiest Place on Earth"?

While these three couples are trying to make a positive out of a negative — and many others are as well including Courteney Cox and David Arquette, Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson, and even Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen (well, most of the time!) — some famous former lovebirds just can't stop the mudslinging. Although Brandi Glanville and Eddie Cibrian have been divorced for more than two years, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star unleashed her fury last week when her ex's new wife, LeAnn Rimes, posted photos of herself trick-or-treating with Glanville and Cibrian's sons Mason, 9, and Jake, 5, taking exception to Rimes captioning the photo "family Halloween." Now, Glanville has bashed her ex in Monday's New York Post, saying when he dumped her for Rimes, he left her nearly broke, with little income, and zero credit. "We were living way above our means in a 10,000-square-foot house," Glanville said about her former life with Cibrian. "There wasn't a lot to get [in the divorce], honestly."

Well, we can't expect all celeb exes to get along. If they did, what would omg! write about?
