Sources: Kansas State's Collin Klein pulled from game after concussion concern
Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein was taken out of the Wildcats' 44-30 victory over Oklahoma State on Saturday because of fears of a concussion, a source said.
Klein took a number of heavy hits during an early third-quarter touchdown drive, capped by his 1-yard scoring sneak.
Afterward, Klein was evaluated on the bench by Kansas State trainers and, a source said, could not recall the details of the drive, including the fact he scored. His helmet was immediately taken away and he did not return to the game. Kansas State led 38-17 at the time.
Klein remained on the sideline the rest of the game, however, interacting with teammates and even trying to vocally motivate them. Coach Bill Snyder offered no details on the injury after the game.

Kansas State media relations director Kenny Lannou said Sunday afternoon the school had no update on Klein.
"He obviously was injured or we wouldn't have taken him out," Snyder said Saturday night.
The level of concussion – if there was one at all – and the status of the Heisman Trophy candidate for Saturday's game at Texas Christian is unknown.

Klein, a senior from Colorado, finished the game completing 16 of 22 passes for 245 yards and rushing for 64 yards and one touchdown. He was replaced by freshman Daniel Sams, who played well.
Kansas State, 9-0 and ranked second in last week's BCS standings, is in a battle for a spot in the national title game with other unbeatens Alabama, Oregon and Notre Dame.
