Photo of Spice Girls secretly rehearsing for Olympics closing ceremony posted on Twitter

The closing ceremony at the London Olympics will be rather spicy. After weeks of speculation, a photo of the Spice Girls rehearsing a performance in an empty lot was posted on Twitter on Thursday, proving the Brit girl group will indeed be a part of the big show on August 12. All five of the singers — Victoria "Posh" Beckham, Geri "Ginger" Halliwell, Emma "Baby" Bunton, Mel "Scary" Brown, and Mel "Sporty" Chisholm — are seen standing on black cars, with men in suits hanging off the backs.

The Spice Girls have definitely been teasing fans that they may reunite for the closing ceremony in their native London. Beckham tweeted a photo of a sparkly microphone last week with the caption, "Look what I found." Not long after, Mel B tweeted a photo of three women's feet and asked fans to guess which shoe belongs to "which Spice Girl." When asked by a reporter if the "Wannabe" singers would be a part of the big closing ceremony, Mel B responded, "If I say yes, I'll have to kill you," since all of the performances at the big event have been kept a secret.

Other rumored U.K. musical acts at the closing ceremony include: One Direction, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, Pink Floyd, Elbow, Annie Lennox, The Clash, Taio Cruz, Take That, Madness, George Michael, Pet Shop Boys, amongst others.
