Darius Rucker (Hootie) loves #MACtion just like the rest of us

Midweek football games are one of those things that help us get through the week, like food and "Modern Family," especially when those midweek games are Mid-American Conference games.

There's a reason why MAC games have earned the Internet meme #MACtion. It's because the games are always crazy, always high scoring and downright entertaining.

And we're not the only ones who think so.

Country singer Darius Rucker, formerly of Hootie and the Blowfish fame, tweeted Wednesday night that he, too, was jonesing for some #MACtion.

We know Rucker is a big football fan. He did the celebrity picks on "College Football Gameday" a couple weeks ago, in one of his Hootie songs he references being a Miami Dolphins fan and he actually sang at the memorial service for former Arizona State player Pat Tillman.

So take comfort MAC, Darius Rucker only wants to be with yooooou.
