LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - Oct 22, 2012) - IBM Information on Demand - Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC) unveils Brava!^® 7.1 for the IBM^® FileNet^® P8 platform, a high-performance viewer that provides unmatched functionality and security, and now offers a zero-footprint, cross-platform HTML5 client option in addition to its ActiveX client. IGC, a leader in viewing, collaboration and redaction technology, demonstrates Brava 7.1 at the IBM Information on Demand conference at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. Brava makes it easy to view, annotate and collaborate on almost any file, including office and PDF documents, CAD drawings and image files. Now, the new Brava HTML5 client provides a zero-footprint, cross-platform option, making Brava available to more users than ever. Because it is HTML-based, there is nothing to install on the user's workstation, no browser plug-in or other technology needed and it can be run on virtually any platform (including PC, Mac and Linux) and in virtually any web browser (including Chrome, IE, Safari and Firefox).

It also offers IBM FileNet users an excellent, scrollable viewing experience, thumbnails for quick document navigation, search with term-hit highlighting, publishing to PDF or TIFF, document redaction and much more.

Also in this release is Brava's shared cache feature, which enhances viewing performance, reduces server-side processing and provides additional failover. Shared cache is an example of IGC's commitment to deliver speed, performance, scalability and enterprise readiness.
