After disrupting U.S. Open trophy presentation, Jungle Bird surfaces at the British Open

Remember the Jungle Bird? We're pretty sure you do. If you don't, he's the luncatic who ran onto the 18th green and started making bird calls in the middle of Webb Simpson's U.S. Open trophy presentation just last month.

It was a bizarre situation that ended with USGA executive director yanking Jungle Bird off the stage, and Simpson dropping a classic "Enjoy the jail cell, pal" line as the guy was taken away.

After disappearing off the radar for the last month-plus, Jungle Bird reappeared at the British Open on Saturday afternoon. Thanks to the wonderful folks at Getty Images, and a quick shot of him on ESPN's telecast, the R&A now knows the biggest party crasher in golf is on the grounds.

That may be bad news for tournament officials, but Jungle Bird may want to think twice before pulling the same stunt again. Why? Mike Davis made the trip over to Royal Lytham and St Annes. That's reason enough for Jungle Bird to stay behind the ropes and just enjoy the action.
