Christina Hendricks’ $24K handbag

Most of the time, no matter what Christina Hendricks is wearing, all eyes are on the "Mad Men" star's fab, voluptuous figure. But as the redhead shopped along L.A.'s trendy Melrose Place on Monday, style savvy peeps couldn't help but notice the pricey accessory that she was carrying: Farbod Barsum's alligator "Isabella" tote, which retails for a whopping $23,980! If she'd just saved up a little longer, Hendricks could've purchased Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's The Row backpack for $39,000. Or she could've bought a whole lot of those $90 Gwyneth Paltrow-designed white T-shirts. Or do you think Hendricks was simply gifted the bag? Oh, the life of a celebrity!

Aside from her purse, Hendricks' ensemble was rather low-key, consisting of a denim button-down shirt frayed at the edges, black skinny pants, shades, and bright red lipstick. Perhaps she was shopping for the upcoming wave of cocktail parties and dinners planned to celebrate the Emmy season. She'll undoubtedly be on many guest lists. For the third year in a row, she's nominated in the category of best supporting actress in a drama. Fans of her show will have to wait until the September 23 telecast to see if she can beat out "The Good Wife's" Archie Panjabi and Christine Baranski, "Downton Abbey's" Maggie Smith and Joanne Froggatt, and "Breaking Bad's" Anna Gunn for her first win. But the real question is ... what will Hendricks wear?
