Britney Spears has certainly had her ups and downs over her relatively young life. However, there's one person she can always count on for support in good times or bad--her 21-year-old sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, who proved her loyalty this week by performing a loving song in honor of her big sis.
Budding musician Jamie Lynn debuted the tune, titled "I Look Up To You," as part of a showcase at a Nashville club Thursday evening. When introducing the song, she said, "You can imagine who I wrote it about."
The lyrics to the ballad describe a "scared little girl" who found fame faster than expected. "It all happened way too soon...they took away your innocence," Jamie Lynn detailed. Sound like anyone you know?
Britney, who is currently a judge on the X Factor, hasn't commented on the song publicly yet. But what big sister could resist such a sweet sibling serenade?
