She's the lady in red! On Saturday, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge made sure she could be seen from afar as she floated down the River Thames on Queen Elizabeth's boat, along with 1,000 other vessels, as part of a river pageant celebrating the monarch's Diamond Jubilee. Her look is a design by one of her favorites, Alexander McQueen, and was shown as part of the label's pre-fall 2011 collection, which means it's no longer available. (Fun fact: Kim Kardashian also wore it!). We love how she altered the look to make it royal-appropriate, adding sleeves and lengthening the skirt, and she accessorized with her favorite L.K. Bennett platform nude heels ($325 at nordstrom.com),Kiki McDonough citrine earrings, a red clutch, plaid scarf, red floral hat, and a dolphin pin, the symbol of the Royal Navy Submarine Service. Do you like her runway to reality update?
