Georgia Tech achieves a rare feat and creates its own safety

Orwin Smith's brief moment of indecision made him an Internet sensation.

And not in a good way.

Smith, Georgia Tech's kick returner, began to return a kickoff from Miami, got to the edge of the end zone and then decided against it. Unfortunately for Smith, his momentum pushed him forward and he was forced to put his hand down to keep his balance and essentially keep his feet in the end zone.

But whether it's the foot or the hand, once any part of Smith's body went out of the end zone, the play became live and his retreat to the end zone became a safety.

Yep, that's what we call a special teams #FAIL.
