Wisconsin will see Nebraska's "N" alternative uniform and raise it a "W."
The Badgers unveiled their new adidas alternate uniforms for the first annual "Unrivaled Game," an annual matchup of top adidas programs, on Sept. 29.
The game has been dubbed "The Quick and the Red."

The block "W" design is a tribute to Wisconsin's 1962 Big Ten championship team, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this fall. That team went on to play USC in the 1963 Rose Bowl.
"Our whole team is very excited and really looking forward to wearing these new and unique uniforms on Sept. 29 at Nebraska," Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema said in a release. "Adidas has been very innovative and ahead of the curve with these uniforms, while also incorporating the 'block W' that recognizes our great football tradition at Wisconsin."
Nebraska unveiled its block "N" uniforms last month and showcased them during fan day last Friday.

Both Wisconsin and Nebraska jerseys use adidas' new Techfit technology, which makes the uniform 30 percent lighter and keeps players cool. The Wisconsin helmet and gloves also will feature the same block "W."
These uniforms, just like the ones for Nebraska, are a big break from what we're used to both of these teams wearing. For so long, both of these teams have worn pretty traditional garb that such a big break from that is a little shocking and even a little off-putting. That's not to say the uniforms aren't nice, they're just, um, different. But traditional has kind of gone out the window these days.
