Paris Jackson: I Get Bullied

Paris Jackson, the 14-year-old daughter of the late singer Michael Jackson, has revealed that being a child of the King of Pop is not always easy. Three years after her father's death, the teen opened up about how she's doing on "Oprah's Next Chapter" on Sunday. She spoke about her famous father and what he wanted for her and her siblings, 15-year-old Prince and 10-year-old Prince Michael II, who goes by Blanket. One big change since Jackson's death is that she's no longer home-schooled, as Jackson insisted, and instead attends private school — L.A.'s exclusive Buckley School, whose alums include Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton. Because of that, she confesses she does have more of a social life. However, one of the drawbacks is that she now has to deal with bullies. "[They are] at school and some people try to cyber bully me," she told Winfrey. "They try to get to me with words, but that doesn't really work."

Paris also spoke about her father's practice of putting masks on her and her brother's faces when they were in public. "I was really confused. I didn't get why I was wearing a mask," she said. "But I understand it now why my dad would want our face to be covered. Like, when we went out without him, we wouldn't be recognized, and we would have a normal childhood." She seemed to understand Jackson wanted to protect his little ones. "He told us that when he was younger, he didn't really have a childhood," Paris explained. "He would always be stuck in the studio singing while the kids were out playing. He wanted us to have that." And, Paris added, they did, with regular visits to Chuck E. Cheese's and Toys "R" Us. She noted that she still misses her dad every day.

Oddly enough, though her father was so desperate to keep her out of the spotlight, the 5'9" beauty is an aspiring actress. She made the decision she wanted to be on the big screen after watching Michael in 1988's "Moonwalker," a film that strings together several of his music videos. Paris has already been cast in the upcoming movie version of children's book, Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys, which is scheduled for next year.
