Live at the Idol Tour Rehearsals, Part 2: Skylar, Elise & Colton

Live at the Idol Tour Rehearsals, Part 3: Jessica, Joshua & Hollie

This year's top 10 American Idols are hard at work rehearsing for this summer's big Idols Live Tour, which kicks off July 6 in Detroit, but they recently took some time to chat with reporters at the rehearsal scene in Los Angeles. Up first were DeAndre Brackensick, Heejun Han, and Erika Van Pelt, and now here are Skylar Laine, Elise Testone, and Colton Dixon, dropping some hints about their concert setlists (Skylar actually reveals one thrilling song choice, of which I totally approve) and discussing what's next for them after the tour.

Below, fifth-placer Skylar talks about her time writing and recording in Nashville, her dream night with Colton Dixon and Carrie Underwood at the recent CMT Awards, and the type of very non-pop-crossover country music she hopes to make after she officially relocates to Nashville this fall.

Sixth-place finalist Elise talks about the very impressive list of players she's working with, and/or hoping to work with, on her debut album; hints at one of the songs she's doing on tour (watch her blinking eyes for clues); discusses the relief of no longer having to perform for the judges' critiques and viewers' votes; and reveals her hope to help bring back the "'70s rock vibe" missing from popular music today.

And seventh-placer Colton's interview is perhaps the most interesting of all...although his blinking eyes, frustratingly, don't give anything away. The man is a poker-faced pro.

Check out all three interviews below. Hollie Cavanagh, Joshua Ledet, and Jessica Sanchez are up next!
