Madonna Hires Mick Jagger’s Daughter to be New Face of Material Girl

Madonna has tapped a member of rock royalty to be the new face of her clothing line.

The 53-year-old music star has hired Mick Jagger's youngest daughter, model Georgia May Jagger, to appear in the marketing campaign for Material Girl, the junior clothes collection she collaborates on with her 15-year-old offspring Lourdes "Lola" Leon.

"To be handpicked by Madonna and Lola as the new face of Material Girl is truly amazing," Georgia, 20, said in a statement. "I've always admired Madonna's style and I'm thrilled to be working with them."

The daughter of Mick and model Jerry Hall, Georgia has appeared on the covers of fashion magazines around the world, including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle. She is also the face of Hudson Jeans and Rimmel cosmetics.

Madonna's new hire replaces Kelly Osbourne who had taken over for original Material Girl face Taylor Momsen. The line, which launched in 2010 and is available exclusively at Macys in the United States and The Bay in Canada, is expanding to Europe and Australia this summer.
