Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan to Attend White House Correspondents’ Dinner … But Lohan Missed Her Flight

Let's hope the Secret Service beefs up security at the White House on Saturday — because Lindsay Lohan will be paying a visit. The actress, as well as reality star Kim Kardashian, will both be attending the White House Correspondents' Dinner and, stranger yet, they are the invited guests of conservative news channel Fox. (Yes, Lohan and Kardashian are going to the same place that Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon says denied her approval for entrance.)

Lohan — who has had an interesting past few weeks filled with two alleged nightclub assaults and arriving three hours late to the "Glee" set on Wednesday — will be the guest of Greta Van Susteren. The TV host tells TMZ she's bringing the convicted felon-actress because "I love comebacks, and I'd like her to succeed." Van Susteren, who actually also brought Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner as her guests in 2010, adds that she's rooting for the 25-year-old and her upcoming gig, "Liz & Dick," a Lifetime made-for-TV movie. "She's got a new movie and I'm hoping things work out for her." At the same table as Lohan and Van Susteren will be Kardashian, a friend of Lohan's and the guest of John Coale.

But don't count on Lohan actually making it to the Washington, D.C. event. In not-so-shocking news, she reportedly missed her 1 p.m. flight out of Los Angeles on Friday after yet another late night/early morning of partying at a Hollywood Hills mansion with Paris Hilton. According to TMZ, Lohan "couldn't pull it together" in time to make her afternoon flight, but plans to take a later one.

If she does make it on Saturday, don't get your hopes up for a Lohan-Kardashian photo op with Barack Obama. A source tells TMZ that the president almost never mingles with the famous guests. But the First Lady has said that their daughters Sasha and Malia are big "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" fans, so he may break that rule in order to win cool points with his girls. If he does, things could get just a little bit awkward considering that Obama has said — twice—that Kardashian's new boyfriend/publicity stunt Kanye West is a "jackass."

The White House Correspondents' Dinner will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and is expected to also draw the likes of George Clooney, Charlize Theron, Reese Witherspoon, Viola Davis, and Eva Longoria.
