Yahoo! Sports adds Olympians Shannon Miller, Dan O’Brien and Summer Sanders to London team

With the London Olympics just 88 days away, Yahoo! Sports is gearing up for the Games by adding three former Olympians to its team in Great Britain. Shannon Miller, Dan O'Brien and Summer Sanders will help Yahoo! in its comprehensive coverage of every aspect of the London Olympics.

Shannon Miller — Yahoo! Sports Analyst, Gymnastics

Considered one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, Shannon Miller is the most decorated American gymnast, male or female, in history. Winner of 16 Olympics and World Championship medals, she won gold in the team event and balance beam at the 1996 Atlanta Games and five medals at Barcelona in 1992, making Miller the most decorated American athlete at those Games. She is the only female athlete to have been inducted twice into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame.

Shannon now serves as president of Shannon Miller Lifestyle: Health & Fitness for Women, and has added a few more titles to her list, including television and radio host, author, speaker, health advocate, cancer survivor and mom. Shannon remains involved with the sport she loves while following her passion to help women make their health a priority. Shannon will be covering gymnastics at the 2012 Olympic Summer Games in London for Yahoo! Sports.

Dan O'Brien — Yahoo! Sports Analyst, Track and Field

Dan O'Brien won Olympic gold in the decathlon in 1996 at the Atlanta Games, to become the first American winner in the sport since 1976. Prior to Atlanta, Dan won gold medals at three consecutive World Championships, in 1991, 1993 and 1995. He set a world record of 8,891 points in 1992. Dan has worked with the U.S. Olympic Committee since 1996 and currently works with USA Track & Field as a mentor and on-field emcee at major events.

He recently became a spokesman for Bilt, a new fitness equipment company co-founded by tennis great Andre Agassi. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Reebok's "Dan and Dave" commercials, which featured Dan along with (and fellow decathlete) Dave Johnson. Dan's book, "Clearing Hurdles: The Quest to be Be the World's Greatest Athlete," will be released May 15. Dan will cover track and field for Yahoo! Sports at the 2012 London Games.

Summer Sanders — Yahoo! Sports Analyst, Swimming

Summer Sanders first came to the attention of the swimming world when, at just 15 years of age, she nearly qualified for the U.S. Olympic swim team at just 15 years old. She went on to become the most decorated swimmer at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, where she won four medals, including two golds, a silver and a bronze. Her World Championships accomplishments also include gold, silver and bronze medals.

While still competing, Summer became a television commentator for major swimming events. She is the author of "Champions Are Raised, Not Born: How My Parents Made Me a Success." Summer will be a Yahoo! Sports expert analyst for swimming and other events in London during the 2012 Olympic Games.
