Kanye West Will Appear on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’

Just days away from the premiere of the seventh season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," we know what question has been keeping you up at night: Will Kim's new reported love interest Kanye West be on the show? (As you'll recall, the rapper made an appearance on the "Kardashians" spin-off "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" last year as the sisters looked at a new location for their Dash store.) The answer to this burning question is that yes, Kanye will make appearances, since he is supposedly part of Kim's actual life, but he won't be a regular. "If we are having dinner and he does show up, I'm sure we're not going to go, 'Stop the cameras!'" the 31-year-old Kim told E!, adding, "I'm not going to be taking a bubble bath and drinking champagne or on a sex swing [on camera] like Khloe [Kardashian] and Lamar [Odom] do. It's not going to be like that." But viewers probably shouldn't expect this season to end with another wedding for Kim like her ill-fated union with NBA player Kris Humphries. Kim's mom and manager Kris Jenner made it clear in an interview on "Today" Wednesday that the two are not that serious. "You know what, I think that Kim is just hanging out with friends and nothing crazy is going on," Kris said. "They [Kim and Kanye] are just having a good time."

However, Kanye does make a blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance in the dramatic trailer for the upcoming season. Khloe also references him when she says that Kim and Kanye are "kind of like two peas in a pod." Besides the coupling of one of the reality stars that America most loves to hate on and the hip-hop artist responsible for the Taylor Swift "I'mma Let You Finish..." moment, the season also promises lots of family drama. We see Kourtney reveal to her relatives that the baby she's expecting will be a girl, Kris crying and saying "I left my husband for another man," Lamar talking to Bruce about wanting to return to the NBA (after the Dallas Mavericks cut him), and the entire clan vacationing in a tropical locale.

Whether Kim and Kanye are the real deal, or just another publicity stunt, remains to be seen. What's certain is that Kanye is certainly not the first guy Kim's brought onto the show. Her ex-boyfriend, NFL star Reggie Bush, made appearances before the two finally pulled the plug on their on-again, off-again romance in 2010. Another NFL player Miles Austin, who Kim briefly dated in 2010, also caught some screen time. Last season, of course, marked the introduction of Humphries ... and we all know how well that turned out!
