Coachella — the annual outdoor concert held in Indio, California — was the place for young Hollywood couples to be over the weekend. Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler, Emma Roberts and Chord Overstreet, and more watched the performances by Radiohead, Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg, and others, hit the many parties, and, of course, indulged in some PDA.
Vanessa and Austin, who are known for smooching in public, snuggled in the grass. Van, 23, amped up her usual bohemian style by wearing a ring of flowers on her head. Can't you just see her at Woodstock back in the '60s?
Meanwhile, Emma Watson cozied up to her new guy, who's reportedly Will Adamowicz, a classmate of hers at Oxford University. The concert was only part of an exciting weekend for Emma. She turned 22 on Sunday and tweeted, "Just enjoyed a birthday feast of Mac N' Cheese, jelly beans and lemonade. : ) Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Much appreciated!! E xx."
The crowd on the first of two Coachella weekends also included reunited couple Emma Roberts, 21, and Chord Overstreet, 23, who recently broke up for three months after dating for nine. That's longer than some Hollywood marriages! After the lovebirds checked out some of the show, they hung out at a carnival near the festival site, where they rode bumper cars and a giant slide. "Best. Weekend. Ever. Contemplating going back next weekend now...," Roberts wrote on Twitter.
"The Vampire Diaries" stars Nina Dobrev, 23, and Ian Somerhalder, 33, were also on hand. And although in real-life they're hot and heavy, their on-screen romance could be over soon. Julie Plec, the show's executive producer, just revealed to E! Online that Dobrev's character will be making a choice between those played by Somerhalder and co-star Paul Wesley in the next four episodes, which are the final ones in the show's third season.
"Glee's" Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, another pair of co-stars rumored to have been getting flirty off-camera, also made an appearance at the music fest, just one month after they were snapped on vacation together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They still haven't confirmed their relationship, but their Twitter messages during and after Coachella made it pretty clear that they had a great time together. "I just saw a really hot 6-foot-3 Canadian with a tribal arm band hanging by the pool. So happy," 25-year-old Lea wrote. Cory, 29, added, "Today was one of the coolest days of my life."
