Apparently Twitter hasn't gotten the message quite yet.

Courtney Love reached out to estranged daughter Frances Bean Cobain Saturday again on Twitter, and apologized for saying that Dave Grohl hit on the 19-year-old. "Bean, sorry I believed the gossip," Love tweeted. "Mommy loves you."

Frances Bean Cobain: Twitter should ban my mom

Love, 47, tweeted Tuesday that she heard from Frances Bean's roommate that Grohl, who played in Nirvana with her dad Kurt Cobain, had hit on her and that Frances was "curious" about him. "I'm not mad at her, him I am about to shoot dead." (Love and Grohl have been at odds since Kurt Cobain killed himself in 1994).

"While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn," Cobain said in a statement obtained by Rolling Stone. "I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy. Twitter should ban my mother."

Frances is engaged to Isaiah Silva, the frontman for the rock band the Rambles.

What do you think about Courtney's apology?
