While Chloë Sevigny may have aged out of the short-shorts stage, I'm glad to see she's still showing off her well-toned legs in the dressier version of the piece: skorts. And it's always nice to see how she styles a look in her own unexpected and totally unparalleled cool-kid way. As Christina pointed out--Chloë is always like a decade ahead of the game. Maybe this means skorts are officially a thing?

Chloë doubled up on texture and print with a funky swirly graphic and metallic shimmer on her light summer knit. (Hope the air-con was on full-force at the event. It was sweltering in NYC last night!) With a structured silhouette and split-front wrap cut on the skort and the sparkle on top, the effortless pairing easily makes it past the party dress-code police. Even though she opted for more somber fall colors, the actress brought the look back to summer with bright white oxfords and a small black-and-white drawstring bucket bag.
