Firefighters Who Saved Puppies from Fire: 'A Life is a Life'
Las Vegas firefighters David Carraway and Gregg Burns know that an animal's life is just as important as a human's. The two are being hailed as heroes after finding two unresponsive puppies in a house fire and performing CPR to bring them back to life.
During their recent appearance on "Ellen," the two firefighters said saving the pups was just part of their job. Ellen was so touched by their bravery and kindness to animals that she invited them back to the show for her 12 Days of Giveaways, and gave each a $5,000 gift card to Petco.
"A life is a life, and a family member is a family member," said Burns backstage at "Ellen." "If there's a dog in there, of course we're going to try and save it." Check it out.
