Need a new source of inspiration for your Pinterest? In the name of, er, beauty research (not just a time suck, pinkie-swear) I've become addicted to these seriously creative and cool sites:

Georgina Graham. I recently came upon this up-and-coming makeup artist's Tumblr, where she posts behind the scenes pics from her editorial shoots, shows her inspiration photos, and smartly sprinkles in tips, tricks, and product reviews. Her work is really beautiful-she's definitely one to watch.

Fashion for the Face. Who wouldn't want to pick the brain of the woman who has created gorgeous faces for more than 250 magazine covers? Brigitte Reiss-Andersen is a legendary makeup artist who started as an assistant at Yves Saint Laurent. From there, she worked runways and red carpets, and collaborated with some of the biggest names in fashion, including photographers Helmut Newton, Irving Penn, Guy Bourdin, and Patrick Demarchelier. Her personal site gives a glimpse into her work, her world, and her vast makeup wisdom and insight.

Mally Beauty.Spend five minutes with makeup artist Mally Roncal and you'll find that you can't stop smiling-she's got energy to spare, and an infectious joyfulness that's more effective than popping a Prozac. My favorite part of her site is "Mally TV": Watch Mally demonstrate how to use her products, check out clips from her daily life, and submit questions that she may answer by email or on her next video.

The Beauty Department. I check out Lauren Conrad's side project with makeup artist Amy Nadine and hair stylist Kristin Ess every day. It's chock full of eye candy, and the hair and makeup looks they feature are ones you'd actually want to try. (Bonus: how-tos are broken down so they're super easy to follow.)
