Bruce Forsyth To Share Stage With Bob Dylan

Sir Bruce Forsyth is to share the same stage as Bob Dylan when he makes his first ever festival appearance this summer.

The Strictly Come Dancing host will perform with a big band at Hop Farm alongside big acts like Primal Scream, Suede and Peter Gabriel.

Not only will it be Sir Bruce's first performance at festival, it will be the first he has ever attended a festival.

Its organiser Vince Power said: "I am honoured to have the legend that is Sir Bruce come down and make his debut appearance at the Hop Farm this year.

"He has been in this business for over 70 years and is a true, true legend - he will be the talking point of the festival."

The 84-year-old entertainer recently made his musical comeback by releasing an album of covers after signing a deal with EMI.

Entitled These Are My Favourites, the collection included a duet with his granddaughter Sophie Purdie.

Music legend Dylan will join Forsyth in the Hop Farm line-up in what will be his only UK date this year.

The American singer also played the Kent festival in 2010.

The three-day event, which kicks off on July 29, prides itself on being independent with no sponsorship or VIP areas.

Other acts performing include Damien Rice, Billy Ocean, Maximo Park, Patti Smith And Her Band and The Stranglers.
