HBO gives fans the opportunity to pick Mayweather, Cotto fights they want to see

Judging by the words of a lot of fans and a lot of boxing writers, it's easy to program fights for television.

If you've thought that way, now is your chance to prove what you're boasted about for years.

HBO is giving fans the opportunity to pick one classic Floyd Mayweather Jr. bout and one classic Miguel Cotto bout, which will air on its HBO2 service prior to the May 5 pay-per-view bout between the men.

You can vote on your choice of six bouts from each man's career. For Mayweather, you can opt to see his 2001 bout with Diego Corrales, his 2006 match with Zab Judah, his 2007 fights with Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton, his 2009 match with Shane Mosley and his bout in September against Victor Ortiz.

Cotto fights against Ricardo Torres, Judah, Mosley, Joshua Clottey, Yuri Foreman and Antonio Margarito are available to be selected.

If you need a refresher on any of the bouts, HBO Sports has posted a video with highlights from each of them. Voting closes on Friday.
