Katie Price reveals daughter Princess is dropping dad Peter Andre's surname

Eek, we have a feeling that Peter Andre isn’t going to be happy with this…

Katie Price has sensationally claimed that her nine-year-old daughter, Princess, is planning on dropping her dad Peter Andre’s surname in favour of her mum’s.

The former glamour model has insisted that Princess has decided to make the change for professional reasons, with the pre-teen hoping to become a social media star.

Speaking to Star magazine, Katie explained: “Princess is going to do her own make-up tutorials on Instagram soon.

“Princess Price will be her stage name, not Andre.”

Princess’ dreams of being an Instagram celebrity no doubt make this an even bigger blow to Peter, who had previously revealed that he isn’t happy with his children’s online presence and that he bans social media from his house.

The Australian singer, who is also father to Katie’s 11-year-old son Junior, recently shared: “I have been asked how I feel about my kids having Instagram accounts. Everyone knows I don’t allow them to have phones or social media at my house.

“I don’t like kids having them because I think it opens them up to all sorts of issues.

“As a parent you have to compromise with the other parent and try to work together. I can only advise and encourage them – I can’t do any more than that.”

Katie sparked controversy over the summer when she advertised Princess and Junior’s Instagram accounts to her one million followers, with the mother-of-five revealing that they’d created accounts in order to find professional work, despite being under Instagram’s minimum age of 13.

The accounts were removed by Instagram twice but now appear to be live for a third time.
