Emmys 2016: 'Creepy' Matt Le Blanc Blasted For 'Inappropriate' Comment About Emilia Clarke

Much-loved ‘Friends’ star turned ‘Top Gear’ host Matt Le Blanc has been blasted for making an “inappropriate” comment about Game Of Thrones’ star Emilia Clarke at the Emmys.

Viewers took to Twitter in their droves to blast the actor for the “creepy” remark, with many deeming it completely unacceptable.

The 49-year-old was chatting to Jason Kennedy on the red carpet when he was asked if he was a fan of Game Of Thrones, in which Emilia plays feisty Daenarys Targaryen.

Matt replied: “Yeah, I saw the first season, and I kind of fell out of touch with it.

“I guess that’s when she [Emilia] started getting naked, so I need to catch up.”

On the carpet, the quip was met with laughter and Emilia, who was stood with fellow E! host Giuliana Rancic at the time, maintained her composure. However, those watching from home were less than impressed:

Emilia, 29, is a huge fan of Matt’s and previously shared a photo of herself with the star on Instagram, gushing: “How YOU doin??! Downright GIDDY now!! Bucket list accomplishment already underway with this gem (both in Joey and Matt form).”

Neither star has commented on the backlash that Matt has faced.
