Katie Price Sparks Outrage For Promoting Her Children's Instagram Accounts

Katie Price is no stranger to controversy, especially when it comes to her children.

Just last year the former glamour model was under fire for letting her eight-year-old daughter, Princess, don a full face of make-up when backstage at her mum’s panto show, and Katie was also criticised for piercing her infant daughter Bunny’s ears.

Now the star has landed in hot water for promoting Princess and her 11-year-old son Junior’s Instagram accounts, with many of Katie’s followers feeling that it was inappropriate for the children to have social media accounts at all.

Taking to her own page last night, Katie shared a screenshot of Junior’s Insta, writing: “My baby boy has asked me for 3 years for Instagram so I’ve allowed it but I’m keeping my eye and have passwords.”

She then shared one of Princess’ account, adding: “Now my beautiful Princess has driven me mad for Instagram but I said I’ll be vetting lol”.

Needless to say, fans were outraged when they noticed that both accounts had an email contact for “bookings”, with a link to their “management”, they also felt that it was wrong for Katie to share her children’s personal accounts to her 1.2million followers along with the world’s press.

Commenting on the pic, furious followers wrote: “Bad idea for so many reasons! It’s a big bad world out there and there’s plenty of apps for kids. Social media is not a world that children should be involved in.”

“Give to kids, sure… but make it private, give them a pseudonym and don’t publicize it.”

“The children’s accounts should be private and only adding friends. Disagree with this.”

“This is purely and simply about child protection, the haters will come. I have no idea why you would choose to do this at their young age.

"Apart from the link where you advertise their agent. Look at what happened with Harvey. You’re a child for such a short time and adulthood sometimes isn’t all its made out to be.”

“As if she doesn’t have enough money. She should be protecting her kids. #selfishcow”.

“After all the trolling you get I’m surprised you have advertised his account and it’s not on private. Surely you want to keep some of you and your family’s time private?”

Princess and Katie aren’t the only young celeb children to have their own Instagram accounts, with Victoria and David Beckham previously letting slip that their sons Romeo, 13, and Cruz, 11, have their own profiles.

However, their pages are kept strictly private and are only followed by friends and family members, with 17-year-old Brooklyn Beckham being the only member of their brood allowed in the public eye.

At the time of writing, Junior’s account has almost 8,500 followers and Princess has nearly 7,000.
