Mad Dash: Hoverboards have been banned from Cleveland's locker room

Pour one out for the favorite gadget of professional athletes. Those hoverboards/segues that so many of them have been using – especially J.R. Smith – are no longer allowed in the Cleveland Cavaliers locker room. The team is blacklisting the boards in an effort to eliminate distractions on their quest for an NBA title, and if we think we're sad, we can't imagine how Smith feels. Thankfully, we'll still have the ridiculous videos of him zipping around in basketball arena tunnels if we get nostalgic. Also, if all those players don't need those hoverboards anymore, the Mad Dash crew will gladly use them to zip around NBC and Yahoo every day.

Quarterback Josh Dobbs has led Tennessee to an 8-4 record this year, not too shabby, but he's got one fan who think that feat is just the beginning of Dobbs' powers. The young Volunteers fan responded to a schoolwork question asking "Do you think airplanes will continue to be improved?" with "Yes because Josh Dobbs will be making them." We like the vote of confidence, but it's just our hunch that Dobbs would rather get 10 wins before he starts improving the aviation industry.

How confident was Tom Brady going into Sunday night's game against the Broncos? He decided to post this picture of him riding the team's mascot. Well, that backfired. Though we still appreciate getting to see this social media side of him more often these days.
