Lana Del Rey Recruits Father John Misty for Her ‘Freak’ Video
In September, Lana Del Rey shared her video for the Honeymoon single “Music To Watch Boys To.” Today she returns with new visuals, this time for “Freak.” Though most of her videos are usually quite cinematic, “Freak” feels the most like a short film as it falls in at just under 11 minutes.
Lana recruits some of the same lovely ladies from her previous video for these new visuals, as well as Father John Misty for the starring role. The slow-motion scenes pair perfectly with the dreamlike quality of the track. Towards the end, “Freak” is followed by a beautiful piano solo as Lana finds herself swimming in that same pool once again.
