HPEV Announces Siemens Exec and Industry Heavyweight to Join Strategic Advisory Board

William Finley Joins the Board as Another Important Step Toward HPEV's 2014 Strategic Commercialization Plan

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwired - Aug 12, 2014) - HPEV, Inc. (OTCQB: WARM), an innovator in energy delivery, efficiency and heat removal technologies, announced today that William Finley has joined its Strategic Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is an integral part of HPEV's overall strategic commercialization plan and Finley will advise the Company with regard to commercialization of its technology in the motors and generators as well as Mobile Generation marketplace.

Mr. Finley has been with Siemens for forty years. He currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Siemens Industry, Inc. Drive Technology leading engineering, development and technology which encompasses motors, drives and mechanical drives. Earlier in his career at Siemens, Finley served as the Engineering Manager for Siemens Energy & Automation and the Operations Manager Siemens ANEMA Motor Plant, and Business Unit Manager for NEMA Motors.

Additionally, he serves as Chairman of the Technical Advisory Group for Rotating Electrical Machinery (TC2) for the United States National Committee of the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), Convenor of IEC for standards for Motors & Drive Application (Maintenance Team 9) and the Chairman of both the NEMA International Standardization Committee and CANENA (Council for Harmonization of Electro-technical Standardization of the Nations of the Americas) for Rotating Electric Machinery (THC 02) as well as leading other internationally recognized manufacturing standards organizations.

Finley has had multiple patents issued in design, technology & processes and more than 25 technical papers published with 4 award winning IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) papers. He was the winner of Siemens prestigious Global award of "Innovator of the Year 2011."
