Kolkata stars are Ferrari World Riders
Stars from leading Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) took a break from their training to experience for themselves all that Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has to offer.
Used to the frantic finishes and dramatic turns of the IPL, the cricketers lived up to their name as they rode the park’s several rides, including Formula Rossa, the world’s fastest rollercoaster.
Coaches Vijay Dahiya and Wasim Akram were joined by KKR players in sampling the theme park's variety of attractions.
The team, boasting renowned international cricket players such as Gautam Gambhir, Yusuf Pathan, Jacques Kallis and Andre Russell, is in the UAE ahead of the first leg of this year's IPL which is being held in the country.
KKR will battle it out with the Mumbai Indiansin the opening game of IPL 7 on 16 April at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.
Italian Prime Minister, Enrico Letta, visited the hugely popular attraction in February which regularly hosts some of the biggest names from sport, politics, film and television.
