Please Do Not Call the Police Department When Facebook Is Down

Sgt. Burton Brink, a police officer in Los Angeles County, tweeted the following  Friday afternoon, during the brief period when Facebook went offline and could not be visited:

Tweet reading 'Facebook is not a Law Enforcement issue, please don't call us about it being down, we don't know when FB will be back up!'

Let this serve as a reminder: If you cannot visit Facebook, do not call the police. Just go to Twitter. Or: Have you checked out Myspace lately? Did you know that Spider Solitaire is a fun and free game available on most computers?

Don’t call the cops about Facebook. They have bigger fish to fry.
