This iPhone Case Can Also Hold Your Favorite Cologne or Perfume
Hate being unscented all the time, but don’t want to carry around a bottle of fragrance in your pants pocket?
Boy, do we have some great news for you, you foul beast, you.
The Atomyzer is a new product on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo that combines an iPhone case with a refillable spritzing mechanism, so that you’ll always have your favorite scent in your pocket. The snap-on iPhone case contains a reservoir and a spray head, so that, in addition to protecting your iPhone from nicks and scratches, it can also provide a spritz of cologne, perfume, hand sanitizer, or really any liquid you might want to keep handy at all times.

While the Atomyzer is designed for perfumes and colognes, the reservoir can be filled and refilled with any fluid that strikes your fancy. According to its Indiegogo page, the case provides up to 60 sprays per fill.
And if you’re worried about mistakenly activating the spritzer while the phone rests in your pants pocket, well, good news — the spray head can be locked, to avoid what Atomyzer inventor Rahul Dharod has hilariously dubbed “accidental butt sprays.”

Dharod got the idea for the Atomyzer while going through security at the airport, when he got tired of his expensive cologne bottles being confiscated. The Atomyzer holds little enough liquid that the TSA can’t take it away from you.
Dharod is looking for $20,000 worth of funding on Indiegogo to become a reality, and the campaign just launched on Wednesday. The perfume bottle-cum-iPhone case will cost $20 for super-early backers, or $35 if you jump on late in the game.
(That $20 price isn’t too bad for a snap-on case, actually. Though I haven’t gotten to try the Atomyzer myself, I would imagine you’re going to get a little more bulk than you would with a non-spraying case, due to the depth of the reservoir. Of course, that bulk comes with the sweet, sweet smell of the Macy’s Men’s Department, so: trade-offs.)

I will confess: I do not use cologne or hand sanitizer often enough to justify carrying it around with me. But if you do, then the Atomyzer might be your next iPhone case. Just make sure you lock it up when you jam it into your pants pocket: The last thing any of us wants is an unfortunate accidental butt spray.
