Poor Olly Murs is still trying to live down last week’s X Factor mistake, when he accidentally revealed that Monica Michael had been axed - before the deadlock results were announced. Oops!

And it looks like Olly’s X Factor family will be having a little laugh and joke at his expense this weekend, as co-host Caroline Flack exclusively revealed to Yahoo Celebrity and other outlets on the red carpet at the ITV Gala event at the London Palladium tonight.

She told us: “We might mention it this weekend as a joke.”

And it looks like Caroline, 36, may be taking the lead when it comes to announcing the results this Sunday, too.

“I might be sending it to deadlock instead of him,” she quipped.

All jokes aside, the stunning X Factor host - sporting an AMAZING ultra blonde bob on the red carpet - insisted Olly’s faux pas wasn’t a big deal.

Caroline said: “He made a mistake. I make loads of mistakes. You move on, you have to put them behind you.”

And it seems the big boss man himself, Simon Cowell, was pretty forgiving of Olly as well.

Caroline added: “He was really lovely, he’s such a good boss, he’s not going to be like, ‘You shouldn’t have done that.’ You live and learn.”

While her weekends are fully devoted to X Factor, Caroline is making sure she finds time to keep up with rival show Strictly Come Dancing, which she won last year, admitting she watches it “when I’m in bed, on catch-up”.

So who does she think will be next to take home the Glitterball Trophy?

“Georgia [May Foote]. Her Charleston’s amazing,” said the reigning champ.
