A mod house from back when it was modern, via Yahoo Homes’ Flickr group

The Mondrian-like exterior detailing on this house in the St. Paul suburb of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, caught our eye in Yahoo Homes' Flickr group today. Photographed here by Flickr user Jim, aka altfelix11, the 1959 home was designed by architect Ralph Rapson, who was working right up until he died in 1998 at age 93.
