Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Burrito: Just in Time for 4/20

Stoners, rejoice! Ben & Jerry’s is producing an ice cream burrito to satisfy your sweet munchies craving.

Called the Brrr-ito, the sweet snack is composed of two scoops of ice cream, topped with a drizzle of fudge and cookie crumbs, all wrapped up in a soft, chewy waffle wrap.

Forget pot smokers — this dessert will entice those who don’t indulge in the herb, as well.

To promote the new treat, Ben & Jerry’s produced an ad mimicking Apple’s infamous, controversial “1984” commercial, which was created to promote the Macintosh computer.

The new ad is updated for stoners who love ice cream. A bunch of long-haired, bearded men stare blankly at a screen featuring an ice cream sandwich until a perky blonde in a pink Ben & Jerry’s t-shirt runs into the room. Rather than carrying a hammer, as in the Apple ad, she hurdles a Brrr-ito into the screen, producing a bright flash.

The message? The Brrr-ito is here to break you out of your munchies rut. “Have one rolled for you in scoop shops April 20th,” ends the ad. (Not subtle, but probably effective.)
