First Look: See Xtina's 'Nashville' Performance as Jade St. John

Christina Aguilera is hitting Nashville for a guest arc, and she’s definitely bringing her voice with her. The Grammy-winning singer and Voice coach will make her first appearance on Wednesday, April 15 with an in-show performance that’s part pop-country diva — but somehow still all Xtina. Except in this case, she plays Jade St. John, one of Nashville’s formidable country music queens. Jade is fired music exec Jeff Fordham’s (Oliver Hudson) former fiancée, and a powerhouse pop star on tour in Music City. We’re not sure how this blast from the romantic past will mess with Jeff’s head, but we’re guessing it’ll be fun to watch — especially if Jade plays “dirrty” to get what she wants. (Sorry, we couldn’t resist.) The episode, titled “Nobody Knows But Me,” kicks off Aguilera’s multi-episode arc, so this likely isn’t the last time we’ll hear her sing.

Nashville airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
