Obama Impersonator Disses Donald Trump in ‘Back to Back’ Spoof

YouTube comic Iman “Alphacat” Crosson’s impersonations of President Barack Obama are so good that he had an opportunity to meet Obama at the White House in 2014. Over the years, Alphacat has made dozens of parodies of Obama reinterpreting everything from Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” to Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot” to Jay Z’s “99 Problems,” accumulating hundreds of thousands of followers across various social media platforms.

President Obama slams Donald Trump in “Back to Back” spoof video.

Alphacat’s latest, “Back to Back,” turns Drake’s Meek Mill dis song of the same name into a hilarious lyrical assault on presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Alphacat’s brilliance lies in his ability to match both the cadence of Drake’s original structure of the song and Obama’s tone and speech pattern. It makes for an impressive and fun listen.

Alphacat does not hold back on his attacks on Trump with lyrics like “You gone make me go buy you a new toupee”; “I’m not really sure what it was that made you mad / But you can’t dis Mexicans and try to take that back”; and “Right-wingers turn to slur-slingers / You getting bodied by a left-winger.”

Alphacat displays his true skills with his ability to create equally entertaining revisions of Drake’s catchiest punchlines. Still, the chorus arguably delivers the most clinching interpolation of Drake’s rendition: “I had to terms / They went back to back.”

The video is also loaded with other goodies. Alphacat portrays Obama riding a hoverboard, doing the Nae Nae, and being followed by two background-dancing Secret Service men.

After the video wraps, it rolls into footage of Alphacat impressing the president with a portion of his routine. The real Obama laughs, asks his staff if they are taping, and jokes that he used to look like the young comedian.
