Ian Beale, played by the wonderful Adam Woodyatt, went a little bit off the rails after his wife Mandy left him and he ended up sporting a lovely bushy beard and living on the streets.

Well, it sounds like his breakdown might just have a bit of relevance at last as it has been reported that Ian might have another episode following the stress of dealing with his murderer son, Bobby Beale.

Ian’s mental health will no doubt become another big storyline for Adam, who is the longest-serving actor in the BBC soap, starring continuously since it began in February 1985.

Last week Adam celebrated filming his 3000th episode, and we have a feeling that he’ll probably still be there in 3000 episodes time…
