Warner Bros Taps Roger Willard As Senior VP & Chief Accounting Officer

Roger Willard has been named SVP and Chief Accounting Officer at Warner Bros Entertainment. In the newly created post, he will be “a key member of the company’s senior finance team, ultimately responsible for all accounting and compliance practices as well as treasury operations of the Studio,” Warners said. “He’ll also provide technical accounting guidance and oversee all financial due diligence related to the company’s business development and transactional activities.

“Roger is a seasoned finance executive with broad, global experience,” said Kim Williams, EVP and CFO of Warner Bros., to whom Willard will report. “With his background and proven leadership skills, he’s an excellent addition to our team, and I look forward to working with him as we guide the company through our industry’s ever-evolving and increasingly intricate financial landscape.”

Prior to joining Warner Bros., Willard spent seven years at the global professional and technical services firm AECOM, serving most recently as Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance; he was also a vice president of corporate finance and global controller at the company. Before that, he was a partner at the management consultant firm Sirius Solutions, L.L.L.P. Willard spent 18 years at Arthur Andersen, including four years as partner, and worked as an independent consultant while getting his MBA from Rice University.
