EastEnders: Viewers Rejoice As Bobby Beale Finally Tells The Police He Killed Lucy

It’s been a long time coming but EastEnders’ Bobby Beale finally told the police that he is the one who murdered his older sister Lucy, although, it very nearly didn’t go to plan.

Seriously, if the Beeb dragged this story out any longer we honestly don’t think that we could cope.

Despite the fact half of Albert Square already seemed to know that Bobby did it (Sharon, Phil, Mick, Lauren, Peter, heck, we’d bet even Tracy knew) the rest of the residents were still doubtful when the psychotic 12-year-old wandered into the Queen Vic covered in his mother’s blood and announced that he’d killed Jane “just like he’d killed Lucy”.

Even Jack Branning, whose brother Max is currently in prison for the crime, didn’t seem to take too much notice of him.

As the episode went on, Ben Mitchell, Martin Fowler and Linda Carter all learned that Bobby had been telling the truth, yet none of them seemed particularly bothered by the revelation - with the police even scoffing at Bobby when he tried to confess all at the station.

Which is why viewers across the nation could not have been happier when Bobby admitted it again, for what seemed like the 100th time, in front of all sorts of police officials at the station and they finally appeared to take notice.

Although it did promptly cut to a doof doof so here’s hoping tomorrow night’s ep doesn’t kick off with all of the authorities continuing to ignore Bobby’s admission…

Regardless, fans of the show were elated that the truth was finally out there and we can only hope that the coming episodes will see evil Bobby finally get the punishment that he deserves and poor Max Branning get his freedom:

It’s all a bit awks that Lauren had already told the police all this and they laughed her out of the station, isn’t it?
