Khloe Kardashian Admits She And Lamar Odom Were Victims Of Racism When Married

Khloe Kardashian has opened up about her personal experience with racism in a new episode of her chat show ‘Kocktails With Khloe’.

The reality star got candid about her relationship with ex-husband Lamar Odom, revealing that she didn’t realise just how racist people could be until she was in an inter-racial marriage.

Speaking to guest Tia Mowry-Hardrict, most famous for her role in Sister Sister, Tia revealed that her mother was once discriminated by an estate agent because she is black.

The actress then asked Khloe if she had ever been in a similar situation, with Khlo sharing: “Very much so… I was in an interracial marriage.

"I would never think to have to say, 'Oh, by the way - my husband’s black, so when he comes in, don’t let your jaw drop.’”

She went on to add: “When I moved to Dallas was the first time that was thrown in my face… Racism is real.”

Khloe and Lamar remained good friends after they split and are yet to officially divorce, with the star being put in a tough position last year when Lamar suffered a near-fatal collapse and she had to make all of his medical decisions.

The incident brought the two even closer together - with many speculating that their romance might be back on - but Khloe has since insisted that a loved-up reunion will never happen.
