Dave Grohl Drum-Battles Animal on ‘The Muppets’
On Tuesday’s episode of The Muppets, Dave Grohl and Animal had a drum-off. Dave is the former drummer for Nirvana and has his own super-successful band, Foo Fighters. This isn’t the first time Animal has had a drum-off with a famous musician. The legendary drummer Buddy Rich appeared on The Muppets in May 1981 and battled Animal. That contest ended when Animal threw a drum at Buddy and it got stuck on his head. The most recent battle ended much more amicably, as Animal and Dave both thought the other drummer was better.
The Muppets airs Tuesdays at 8pm on ABC.
